Acer Aspire AO533-23571 10.1-Inch Netbook (Glossy Black) ,This has been a great little netbook for our family. We purchased the Acer Aspire as an “extra” internet/computing option for my wife. We have a full laptop that I use for school most of the time, and she needed something to use when the laptop is not available. Overall, it has performed well in the few months that we’ve had it. It’s easy to use and is pretty fast given the process and memory. We do plan to upgrade the RAM to 2GB, which will help it run even faster. It has worked great for internet browsing, e-mail, word processing, and for listening to local and streaming music. The wireless has worked flawlessly, although the screen has “hickupped” on us a few times (no image after being in sleep mode for a long time) that required us to reseat the battery.
I certainly would not recommend this (or probably any netbook) if you’re looking for a full-fledged laptop with all the options, but especially for the money, you can’t go wrong with this netbook for simple computing needs.
